Within the Strength & Conditioning Programme we train for a strong Bench Press for a number of reasons
A solid Bench Press has crossover into strong SkiErg and RowErg efforts, as well as its real world merits of being able to manage heavier loads
Like any Compound Lift, it promotes bone bone density across and through older age brackets
The Bench Press:
– It has a carryover to overhead Pressing Strength
– It will improve Trunk and Shoulder Stability
– It will strengthen all three tricep heads (long, lateral and medial)
